After installing, hold Shift and hover an English, French, or Japanese word. The local dictionary appears beside it. Press E inside the bubble for a contextual explanation. Every shortcut is configurable.

Reading support currently covers English, French, and Japanese. The interface and AI output follow 14 native languages. French and Japanese local definitions are currently in English; non-Chinese English learners receive an English monolingual dictionary.

Local dictionaries, word audio, resurfacing, and the PDF reader work without an account. Email-code sign-in unlocks the 50-request lifetime trial, links subscription status, and prevents automated trial abuse.

A context explanation, selection explanation, paragraph translation, voice answer, or sentence-level speech costs one. Speech transcription is included in the voice answer and is not charged twice. Local lookup, system word audio, and shadowing are free.

Only an explicit AI action sends the target, document outline, and a bounded window around it through yabt’s gateway for inference. AI Gateway prompt and response logging is disabled. Local dictionary lookup does not send page context.

The built-in PDF.js reader supports PDFs with a text layer. Scans without text do not support lookup and yabt does not perform OCR. Multi-column reading order is best effort.

Cancel through Creem customer access or contact [email protected]. Cancellation stops the next renewal and Pro remains active through the paid period. Cancellation is not a refund; paid fees are generally non-refundable except where law requires, a charge is duplicated or erroneous, or Creem decides otherwise.

The service uses one global overseas stack on a best-effort basis. Cached dictionary shards are local; first-time shards and AI calls depend on cross-border connectivity. No mainland private line or domestic region is promised today.

No. yabt focuses on immediate questions while reading. Translation is explicit and paragraph-level, and there is no flashcard or review queue.
