JMdict / EDRDG
The Japanese dictionary uses the English edition of JMdict, maintained by the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group (EDRDG) and initiated by Jim Breen. JMdict and derived data are used under CC BY-SA 4.0.

French and English-monolingual dictionaries use Kaikki machine-readable extracts of English Wiktionary. Wiktionary text is available under CC BY-SA / GFDL, with derivative data following applicable attribution and share-alike terms.

English-to-Chinese lookup for Chinese-native users uses a trimmed build of skywind3000/ECDICT. Repository code is marked MIT; the compiled data remains on the pre-release commercial licence audit list.

The French frequency gate uses the French OpenSubtitles ranking from hermitdave/FrequencyWords. Project code is MIT and generated content is declared CC BY-SA 4.0.
